A KeepTool Product for End Users
HoraLight is KeepTool's product that makes it easy for anyone to manage data in tables and views. HoraLight's design and functionality is based on the full version of KeepTool's classic product, Hora. Besides offering various ways of looking at tables and views, HoraLight offers the Import/Export, Reporting, and other data-oriented functions of Hora.
HoraLight's SQL Workbench, with its versatile editor component, allows users to create and test SQL commands and PL/SQL. The features detailed below function in the same manner as in the full version of Hora.
Import/Export Facility
The Import and Export Wizards in HoraLight permit users to import from such formats as Microsoft Excel, DBF, XML, and text; and to export to these formats and to Microsoft Word, PDF, and HTML—just to name a few examples. In other words, there is no more need to create comma-delimited files as an intermediate step when moving data into or out of the database in order to interface with end users.
